The Following of Christ
Dear children, just let Jesus take care of it all. He will know what to make of everything in the right time and way.
Wait until Jesus takes your problems away. Then you will see how every problem was to your advantage.
You may think you want something very badly. But after you get it you would soon lose interest in whatever it was. That is how it goes with human desire. It passes constantly from one thing to the next.
For that reason it is good to crucify your desire for earthly things.
True progress comes through forsaking yourself, and if you do that, you will be free and secure.
The old enemy, always opposing all that is good, never stops tempting you night and day. He lays dangerous snares into which the unwary easily fall. For this reason the Lord says, “Watch and pray, that you enter not into temptation.”
